About Plastek Werks
Plastek Werks is a leader in custom thermoplastic fabrication,
plastic welding, and environmental containment systems. For more
than 30 years, we have designed and manufactured high-performance
plastic equipment for customers across North America.
Our products are used in demanding industrial and environmental
applications where durability, chemical resistance, and precision
matter.
We are known for our expertise in full penetration plastic welding,
custom fabrication, and solving complex engineering challenges. If
you enjoy designing products that are actually built, tested, and
installed, not just modeled on a computer, we would like to hear
from you.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on engineering
position where you will be involved throughout the entire project
lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing and
production support.
Working closely with our fabrication shop, welders, machinists, and
project managers, you will develop custom equipment, optimize
manufacturing processes, create production documentation, and
improve the efficiency of our operations.
Experience with thermoplastics is a plus but is not required. We
are looking for an engineer with strong mechanical design skills
who enjoys solving real manufacturing challenges.
